
Teaching respect for the common good cover not only the respect for things at school or at home are common goods to those for social goods, such as parks, libraries, theaters, monuments, museums, cinemas, and so on.
Children must learn not to break up garden plants, and toys to the park, not to damage the lawn or paint the walls. Young children should also learn to care for books in the library, not to touch the paintings, sculptures, or other objects in a museum, and not disturb the animals in the zoo.
